Hey, I’m Jessie.

“I created GenGlo because I know what it feels like to grow up with the wrong skincare — and I wanted to make sure no one else had to.”
The tween years
Struggled with breakouts and used products that were far too harsh. Instead of helping, they damaged her skin barrier and led to years of sensitivity and adult acne.
Nearly 10 years in beauty
Worked inside brands including L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline and NYX. Saw first-hand how most skincare is developed for adults and only later marketed to teens.
The realisation
Young skin isn’t adult skin. It’s already at its healthiest and just needs gentle support — not strong actives. No one was building something specifically for tweens from the start.
GenGlo is born
A simple three-step routine designed specifically for tweens and teens. Shaped by dermatology professionals, parents and a Glow Squad community of real tweens.

Before starting GenGlo, I spent nearly 10 years working inside the beauty industry with brands including L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline and NYX. During that time, I saw how most skincare is developed for adults first and only later marketed to teens.
But young skin isn’t adult skin. It’s already at its healthiest — and just needs gentle support, not strong actives.
So I created GenGlo — a simple three-step routine designed specifically for tweens and teens to help protect their skin barrier early and build healthy habits for life.
GenGlo is shaped not just by my experience in beauty, but by conversations with dermatology professionals, parents and our Glow Squad community of real tweens who helped influence how the brand looks, feels and works.
